The Pint of Science is an initiative to communicate science to everybody interested while having a relaxing beer in a bar. The idea was developed by two postdocs in London a few years ago and it now has spread into 12 countries with more than 60 cities. This year, PoS will take place for the first time in Münster from 15th to 17th of May. The Pint of Science Münster is organized by three PhD students from the CiM-IMPRS graduate school.
For the duration of the event, six experts from three different fields
of science will explain the latest news from their research. Max Planck researcher Dr. Jan Bruder will kick off the Pint of Science
Festival in Münster on the evening themed "Insights into disease
models".
